On Day 1, depart early from your hotel for a journey to Luxor, the heart of ancient Egyptian civilization. Start by visiting the East Bank of Luxor, where you’ll explore the impressive Karnak Temple, the largest religious temple complex in Egypt and a major site for the worship of Amun. Built during the Middle Kingdom, it holds immense historical significance. Next, head to the Luxor Temple, built by Amunhotep III and completed by Ramesses II during the New Kingdom. Ramesses II, the most famous king of the 19th Dynasty, left his mark on this magnificent structure. Afterward, you will visit the Obelisk of Ramses II, a monumental tribute to this pharaoh.

After a lunch at a local restaurant, continue your exploration to the West Bank of Luxor. Here, visit the Valley of the Kings, the burial site for pharaohs of the 18th and 19th dynasties, including many famous tombs (except Tutankhamun’s tomb). Then, see the Colossi of Memnon, the massive statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. Your day ends with a visit to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, one of the most architecturally significant temples in Egypt, dedicated to the first female pharaoh. Start your second day with breakfast and then head to Kom Ombo, where you will visit the Kom Ombo Temple, dedicated to the gods Sobek and Horus. The temple offers an amazing view of the Nile and is unique for its dual design. Afterward, continue your journey to Edfu, home of the Temple of Horus, one of the best-preserved ancient temples in Egypt. After exploring, enjoy lunch before heading to Aswan.

On the final day, depart early for a visit to the incredible Abu Simbel Temples, an engineering marvel built by Ramesses II and dedicated to the pharaoh himself and his wife, Nefertari. These awe-inspiring temples are known for their monumental statues carved directly into the rock.

Next, you will visit the Aswan High Dam, one of the most important engineering feats of the 20th century. Built in the 1960s, it regulates the flow of the Nile and created Lake Nasser, one of the largest artificial lakes in the world. From the top of the dam, enjoy stunning views of the lake and surrounding landscapes. You will also see the Kalabsha Temple, an ancient Nubian temple, and enjoy views of the nearby power plant. In the afternoon, you will return to your destination, concluding this rich and historical adventure.
