The journey begins with a drive from Cairo to El Alamein, located in the northern province of Matrouh, about three hours away. The first stop is the El Alamein Museum, which showcases the history of World War II battles fought in this region. The museum is home to important exhibits, including artifacts from the war and detailed accounts of the battles that shaped the course of history. Afterward, you’ll visit the El Alamein War Cemetery, where soldiers from various countries are buried, followed by the German and Italian Memorials, commemorating the thousands of soldiers from those nations who perished during the conflict. After a break for lunch at a local restaurant, the journey continues to the Siwa Oasis, an approximately four-hour drive. Upon arrival, you will check into a 4-star hotel where you can relax and prepare for the next day's adventures.

After a hearty breakfast, your exploration of Siwa begins with a visit to the Sidi Abou Soliman Mosque, the oldest monument in Shali, a historic village in Siwa. The mosque, dating back to the 13th century, offers a glimpse into the town's rich history and Islamic architecture. From there, you’ll head to the Temple of the Oracle, dedicated to the god Amon. This ancient structure is famed for its association with Alexander the Great, who visited the oracle seeking prophecy during his conquest of Egypt. Continuing your journey, you’ll visit Cleopatra's Spring, a natural spring that flows from underground and is said to have been a favorite bathing spot of Queen Cleopatra. The next stop will be the Shali Fortress, an ancient mudbrick fortification offering panoramic views of the oasis and surrounding desert. After lunch at a local restaurant, you will visit the small island of Fatnas, located in the heart of Lake Siwa. This serene location is the perfect place to watch the sunset, with the sun casting its golden hues over the desert and water.

On Day 3, after breakfast, the adventure continues with a trip into the Sahara Desert. The drive takes you deeper into the desert landscape, where vast sand dunes stretch out in every direction. Your first stop will be a natural cold and hot spring in the desert, providing an opportunity to relax and enjoy the refreshing waters. Afterward, you will experience the desert’s breathtaking beauty as you sip traditional tea while watching the sunset over the endless dunes. As night falls, a BBQ dinner will be served in a desert camp, allowing you to enjoy a delicious meal under the stars. You will then spend the night in the desert, camping in a traditional setup and immersing yourself in the tranquil atmosphere of the Sahara.

The fourth day begins with breakfast at the camp before returning to Siwa, where you will visit the salt lake. The mineral-rich waters of this lake are famous for their therapeutic properties, and a swim here is a refreshing way to start the day. Next, you will visit Gebel Al Dakrur, a mountain with a distinctive triple peak visible from various points in the oasis. This landmark offers spectacular views of the surrounding area and is a perfect spot for photos. The final stop of the day will be the Mountain of the Dead, a site containing more than 2,000 tombs dating back to the Greco-Roman period. The tombs are carved into the mountain and provide a fascinating glimpse into the burial practices of ancient Siwa. After lunch, you will have some free time to shop for local crafts, dates, and olive oil, or simply explore the town of Siwa at your leisure.

After breakfast, begin your return journey to Cairo. On the way back, you may have the opportunity to visit Marsa Matrouh, where you can relax on beautiful Mediterranean beaches or explore the local markets. Continue your drive back to Cairo, arriving in the evening. From there, you will be transferred to Cairo Airport for your onward journey or flight departure.
