Departure to Luxor

The trip begins with an early departure from the hotel around 4:00 AM. The journey to Luxor takes about 6 hours.

Visit to Medinet Habu Temple

The first stop is Medinet Habu, the mortuary temple of Ramesses III. This impressive temple is known for its well-preserved reliefs and statues.

Colossi of Memnon

Next, we will visit the Colossi of Memnon, the two massive statues of Amenhotep III, a pharaoh seated on a throne, which are considered iconic landmarks of Luxor.

Deir El Medina Tomb

We will then explore the tomb of Deir El Medina, where artisans and workers who built the royal tombs were buried. This site offers fascinating insights into ancient Egyptian life.

Lunch

Lunch will be served, providing a break during the day's exploration.

Luxor Temple and Alabaster Village

After lunch, the tour will continue with a visit to Luxor Temple, one of Egypt's most famous and well-preserved temples, followed by a stop at Alabaster Village, where you can see how traditional alabaster statues and items are crafted.

Optional Trip to Banana Island

There will also be the possibility of an optional trip to Banana Island, a small island known for its lush greenery and banana plantations.

Return to Marsa Alam

The planned return to the hotel in Marsa Alam is around 11:00 PM after a full day of exploring Luxor’s ancient treasures.
