The adventure begins with a departure from your hotel for a comfortable journey to Luxor, often referred to as the world’s greatest open-air museum. Our first stop is the west bank of the Valley of the Kings, where you’ll explore the tombs of Egypt’s most powerful pharaohs, including those of Tutankhamun and Ramses II. From here, we’ll continue to the stunning temple of Queen Hatshepsut, one of the most architecturally remarkable sites in Egypt, built into the cliffs of the Theban Mountains. After soaking in the beauty of the west bank, we’ll cross to the east bank of the Nile, where you’ll have time to appreciate the grandeur of the Luxor Temple. Following the day of discovery, we’ll board a luxurious 5-star boat for an overnight stay with full board, giving you ample time to unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. If you're up for it, an optional evening trip to the spectacular light show at the temple can be arranged.

Start the day with a hearty breakfast before visiting Karnak, one of the most important religious sites in ancient Egypt. Explore the vast temple complex, where towering columns and colossal statues transport you back in time. You’ll witness the grandeur of the Great Hypostyle Hall and marvel at the intricacy of the Amun-Ra Temple, dedicated to Egypt's most important god. Next, we will head to Luxor Temple, another architectural gem located on the east bank of the Nile. This temple, dedicated to the god Amun, is known for its beautiful statues, sphinx-lined avenues, and breathtaking pylons. In the afternoon, we’ll set sail to Edfu for the evening. Enjoy dinner on board and a free evening to relax or explore the boat’s amenities, including the sun deck, pool, and entertainment.

After breakfast, we’ll visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. This magnificent temple, dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus, was constructed between 237 BC and 57 BC during the reign of the Ptolemaic dynasty. Wander through the temple's grand halls and enjoy the stunning reliefs that depict the ancient mythological stories of Horus and his battle against the god Seth. From Edfu, we’ll continue our cruise towards Kom Ombo. Here, you’ll visit the Temple of Sobek, dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon-headed god Horus. The temple’s unique symmetrical design, with two identical entrances, halls, and sanctuaries, makes it a fascinating site to explore. After the tour, we’ll return to the boat and sail towards Aswan, where we will stay overnight.

After breakfast, we’ll explore the marvel of modern engineering, the Aswan Dam, which controls the flow of the Nile and created the vast Lake Nasser. From the top, enjoy panoramic views of the lake, the dam, and the surrounding desert landscape. Next, we’ll visit the unfinished obelisk, a fascinating site where an enormous obelisk was abandoned in its quarry due to cracks in the stone. Learn about ancient Egyptian stone-cutting techniques and the ambitious plans that led to the creation of such monumental structures. Following this, we’ll head to Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddesses Isis and Hathor. This temple, set on an island in the Nile, is renowned for its beautiful location and the intricate carvings that adorn its walls. For those seeking a deeper adventure, there is the option to take an optional trip to Abu Simbel, where the magnificent temples of Ramses II stand in dramatic contrast to the desert surroundings. In the late afternoon, we’ll return to the boat and enjoy a peaceful evening as we reflect on the wonders of the day.
